Hotel development in the Pacific Northwest has continued to grow, and despite a few delays most projects still are moving forward. Since our Fall 2016 issue of Northwest Hotel Investor Insider News, about 35 hotels at varying stages of development have been added to our list of properties been built in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.

Interesting facts about our list:

  • The brand most being developed in the Pacific Northwest is Hampton Inn with 13 hotels at various stages. The next is Holiday Inn with 11 hotels. There are also a handful of Courtyards, Fairfields and Hyatts in the pipeline
  • Outside of Seattle and Portland, other hot markets for development are Bellevue, Boise, Eugene, Everett, Hillsboro, Redmond, and SeaTac.
