New Hotel Planned for the Pearl District

Wendy Culverwell, staff writer for the Portland Business Journel, recently reported that space is being made in the Pearl District for a new hospitality project. One of the buildings up for demolition is the current filming location of MTV’s new season of “The Real World: Portland”. The building was built in 1904 and is located on the corner of NW 9th and NW Flanders. The first floor is occupied by commercial tenants and the second floor was recently renovated for the filming of the series.
